11TH October, 2026 SPRING FUN PRACTICE TOURNAMENT 2​​

This was also a strong Swiss Tournament (with many returning players from last time and several high school kids with a lot of experience, mixed with primary kids who themselves also have a lot of experience), with everyone playing in a great spirit and able to learn from each other and the top quality games on show. As the Arbiter/Coach/Organiser, I could only sit back and praise the efforts and sportsmanship once again of everyone who participated! For, it really isn't how many games you win, it's the character that each player builds in so doing that really makes all the difference in chess! That being said, each of the players who got standings it goes without saying are forever building the qualities that make really strong chess players all the time as well, with everybody else just in the same way. So super Well Done!!

​30TH August, 2026 INAUGURAL WINTER FUN PRACTICE TOURNAMENT 1

This was a strong Swiss tournament (with several competitiors having solid junior ratings and alot of experience (being in High School) + a couple who have Australian National Ratings as well.
