Charitable Fund
Like many lifelong chess players, John-Stuart Plant learned to play chess from his dad John-Bruce Plant, the formidable professional boxer (Queensland Light-Heavyweight Champion and Australian Number One Contender). In memory of his late father, John-Stuart will be establishing the John-Bruce Plant Chess Fund, which will be dedicated to funding scholarships for students who can't afford all the resources required to pursue their passion for chess (covering the cost of coaching classes, tournament entry fees and chess.com subscriptions).
